The day will include a poster and company showcase, keynote speakers, networking with experts and awards. More than $35,000 will be given to top researchers who present the most innovative work. Abstract submissions for the poster showcase can be submitted until March 22 at 11:59 pm.

The day will begin at 11:30 am with lunch and a keynote address by Dr. Stephen Badylak, deputy director of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center McGowan Institute for Regenerative Medicine and director of the Center for Preclinical Testing. Badylak directs a laboratory focused on the use of biologic scaffolds to facilitate functional tissue and organ reconstruction. He is past president of the Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine International Society (TERMIS), the author of more than 300 peer reviewed publications, and holds more than 50 issued U.S. patents and 300 patents worldwide.
Poster and company showcase
The Poster and Company Showcase will highlight innovative technologies and companies from CSU and Northern Colorado. It will be held from 12:45 – 3:45 p.m.
The poster showcase will feature the work of graduate students and postdocs. Attendees can view and vote for their favorite projects.
Networking and awards
The day will wrap up with networking and awards at 4 p.m. The top innovations from the poster showcase and the top emerging companies in Northern Colorado will be awarded a total of about $35,000.
