It is with mixed emotion that CSURF announces the departure of Mandana Ashouri, Director of Licensing & Business Development.

Mandana came to us in 2018 from University of Texas, Austin, where she served as a licensing specialist and IP manager.  In her role at CSURF, Mandana was responsible for technology marketing, patent prosecution and license negotiation of CSU-created intellectual property and startup formation, university research activities, and corporate relations for her portfolio of technologies in Physical Sciences and Engineering.  CSURF will feel her absence and miss her experience, knowledge, and kind professional demeanor.  We are sincerely grateful for having had Mandana as our colleague and for the impact she made during her time at CSURF.

Mandana Ashouri LIcensing DirectorWe are excited for Mandana on the next step of her adventures, joining The Ohio State University technology transfer office (TTO) as the Associate Director of Licensing, Physical Sciences and Engineering.    We have had many successful engagements with the Ohio State TTO and look forward to continuing our collaborative work with Mandana in her new role.

Please join us in wishing Mandana the best.
