CSU VENTURES ENGAGES AND SUPPORTS THE CSU COMMUNITY
WITH EXTENSIVE OUTREACH AND PROGRAMMING EFFORTS
Technology transfer is dedicated to fostering a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship. As a result, our office takes an active role in participating in and sponsoring innovative work across campus, and supporting external innovation networks across Colorado and the nation.
At the individual level, our staff can be found guest lecturing across campus, and meeting with faculty, staff, and students to educate and engage in innovation to commercialization efforts. As an organization, we provide professional development opportunities through our Ambassador program, host the State of Innovation Seminar Series, and present Demo Day, our annual innovation symposium Additionally, we collaborate with CSU groups, such as the Office for the Vice President for Research, the Graduate School, the Institute for Entrepreneurship, and the Energy Institute, to provide science communication workshops, guest lecturers, professional development opportunities, and sponsor a variety of innovation awards at department and College symposia. We actively partner with engagement opportunities such as Destination Startup, Infectious Disease Research Talks, and the NoCoBio summit.
Locally and at the State level, examples of our partnering networks include the Innosphere, the Colorado BioScience Association, CU Venture Partners, CO-LABS, and the State of Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade. At the national level, we engage with industry, not-for-profit and foundation groups, Federal funding programs, investment firms, Accelerator Programs, the US Trade and Patent Office, intellectual property legal firms, and university technology transfer offices.
