Director of Licensing & Business Development
Dian joined CSURF in 1989 and is responsible for technology marketing and related patent matters, including license negotiation of CSU created intellectual property, and supports startup formation and university research activities. Her portfolio primarily consists of innovations in agricultural sciences, and also includes a smattering of diverse technologies, such as orthopedic and cardiac directed technologies. Dian also manages the IP from CSU’s robust Wheat Breeding and Potato Breeding Programs (learn more about these programs below).
Prior to CSURF, she had 10 years of experience working at UT Southwestern Medical School in the departments of orthopedics and cardiac pathology. Dian is a graduate of El Centro College, Dallas, TX.
