Sarah joined CSUV as a Graduate Student Ambassador in 2015. in 2018, after completion of her PhD, she transitioned to our Outreach & Program Development Specialist. In 2019, Sarah became the Director of Outreach & Communications, responsible for the development of on-campus educational initiatives and all communication efforts that support the mission of CSU Ventures – highlighting technology transfer initiatives and licensing successes from the CSU System and Colorado State University. Sarah manages our CSU Ventures Ambassador Program, coordinates the State of Innovation Speaker Series, and oversees Demo Day, our annual innovation symposium.
Sarah has a BA in Biology from Grinnell College, a MS in Nutritional Science from CSU (Community Nutrition – Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program, Extension), and a PhD in Nutrition Science (Community Nutrition – Health Behaviors Lab) from CSU. Prior to moving to Fort Collins to pursue graduate education, Sarah was the Site Manager for Stephens & Associates, Inc, a full-service contract research firm specializing in cosmetic safety and claim substantiation, Phase I-IV dermatology clinical trials, and medical device studies.
