Todd Headley, MBA
Vice President, CSURF Technology Transfer
Todd joined the organization in 2007 as the President of CSU Ventures. Todd serves as the CSU Ventures co-Primary Investigator on the Colorado-Corps grant program; a National Science Foundation funded grant program that supports customer discovery efforts for entrepreneurs at Colorado State University. With the leaders of Colorado-Corps, Todd is responsible for vetting teams and post-training engagement of mature teams with external ecosystem stakeholders.
Todd has held roles in technology commercialization and business development at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Iowa State University, and the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Prior to joining the world of technology transfer, Todd spent 10 years working in the biopharmaceutical industry for what are now Merck Animal Health and Zoetis, primarily engaged in biological manufacturing and product development activities. He holds bachelor’s degrees in both Microbiology and Environmental Science from South Dakota State University and an MBA from Iowa State University.
