Since 2007, CSU Ventures has launched more than 60 startup companies based on CSU technologies. In an effort to further assist and support faculty startups, CSU Ventures developed the LAUNCHPAD program in 2018, a CSUV program that works with founders from idea through formation and launch of the company. Consistent with land-grant university goals and outreach, our startup company portfolio showcases companies developed to tackle many of today’s greatest problems, from agricultural initiatives and climate change to human and animal health applications.
Many of our faculty inventors never dreamed they would become the founder of a company as a result of their academic research. Learn more about their journeys from inventor to founder in the highlighted stories below, and check out their continuing impact through their commercialized works by visiting their companies’ websites.
